My Why

Feeling lost as a busy working mum and out of routine made me feel extremely stressed out & low about myself.

I was stuck in the middle of “I hate how I feel”, lacking in self-confidence and stressed because of the lack of routine, and loving what my body had been through to give me my beautiful children. I was annoyed I was just going through the motions of mum life & running a business, not really living to my full potential but doing nothing about it!

I want to help busy working mums not feel the way I did: Lost, stressed out & self-conscious!

Summer 2023, after having 2 beautiful children already, I had a miscarriage. Although I had found some kind of routine with my busy mum-life, I knew there was still room for improvement on my physical & mental health.

That situation made me realise that life is just far too short to not live to your full potential. You never know what is going to happen, but if you can work harder on the things you can control, like your health, you've certainly got a better chance at living a happier, healthier life!

I've always had a mission to ensure women do not waste their lives feeling like they're not good enough, feeling low and miserable! Now I want to do the same for overwhelmed mums!

I want mums to go through life and embrace each day!

I want mums to feel confident, get their spark back and not miss any more opportunities to be their best due to their lack of organisation.

My story

Like a lot of women, through my late teens/early 20's I was never happy with my body, always trying to improve the way I looked though “quick results” diets, pills & shakes

I always compared myself to the top fitness models on Instagram, which always left me feeling deflated. This is where my career in the fitness industry started. Wrongly I first started out teaching classes to help me do more exercise & drop more body fat…To essentially look like those IG models! At this point I actually fell in love with what I was doing and decided to officially set up Amy Dawson Fitness, helping 100's of women transform their body and feel 10x better about themselves.

During 2020 I got in the best shape & health of my life, from training at home and focusing on my nutrition, which then lead me to getting pregnant with my first child. At this point I'd been off the pill for a year when I finally got pregnant. This gave me more drive to be the healthiest I could be moving forward! To stop me from comparing myself to others, to set a better example for my baby as she grows up.

3 years later, I have 2 beautiful children, I'm more confident with my physique (even though I'm not as slim) & I'm running a very successful coaching program, helping ladies just like me get their spark back & feel more like themselves again.
